SHIRAZ RESERVE

SHIRAZ 2005: “Reserve Shiraz – A Beauty! Not much left.”

Hand selected grapes from a small portion of the vineyard. Small quantities made and only released for sale 2013. Impressive nose with vibrant aromas of blackcurrent, dark berries and spice, well balanced with oak integration. Aged in French oak this stylish full bodied wine is richly textured with silky tannins giving excellent length and structure. An elegant example of a cool climate Shiraz.

2008

SHIRAZ SINGLE VINEYARD

Hand picked from single vineyard and matured in new and 1-2 year French oak barriques. The result is aromatic fruits of blackberries and plums with a hint of chocolate and peppery spice. This wine is a delicious example of cool climate Shiraz, lighter in texture and with the ability to enhance the flavours of most any meal.

SHIRAZ 2009: “ Cherries, plums & touch of spice!"

Excellent example of cool climate shiraz produced in a truly boutique winery.

This Shiraz has been hand made with special attention to maintaining fruit flavours which come from the berries in our vineyard. The result is aromatic fruits of cherries and plums with a hint of spice. Fantastic vintage producing a really delightful shiraz.

2010

SHIRAZ

SHIRAZ 2010: “ Blackberries, plums & chocolate! Delicious!”

2010 was a fabulous season and the vines were in excellent condition, so we decided to keep the berries on the vines for a little bit longer to produce a bolder style shiraz. The result is aromatic fruits of blackberries and plums with a hint of chocolate and spice. There is an instant blast of flavours when the wine is first opened, then let it settle for a few moments and the result is generous fruit, smooth and silky. Fantastic vintage producing a wine made to age and develop its character in the bottle over time. Cellar for 10+ years.
